How Can a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist Help You?

Weight Management

We can help you reach your weight loss goals by setting achievable nutrition and physical activity goals and providing the support and accountability you need.

Diabetes Management

Whether you are newly diagnosed or looking for extra support, we can give you the nutrition tools to manage diabetes.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Nicole Maslar is a FODMAP certified RD. A certified RD can help with FODMAP elimination and reintroduction diets to specify foods that trigger symptoms of IBS-C, IBS-D and IBS-unspecified. This process requires the expertise of a FODMAP certified clinician. Certification is honored after completion of Monash University course and passing of exam.

Nutrition Support

A dietitian plays a critical role in managing tube feeding regimens and provides assistance with those receiving both short term and chronic alternative nutrition support.

Pre and Postnatal Nutrition

Good nutrition can support you and your baby during and after your pregnancy.  We offer nutrition counseling for special situations such as vegetarianism, multiple pregnancies, gestational diabetes, anemia and hypertension.

Food Allergies

Whether you or your child is newly diagnosed with food allergies or living with an allergy and in need of further support, we can help to avoid the allergens at home, at restaurants, or at school, while ensuring optimal nutrition.

High Blood Pressure or Cholesterol

Diet changes can help you lower and control your blood pressure or cholesterol.  We can give you practical and sustainable nutrition guidance for managing these conditions.

Eating Disorders

We can help you if you are struggling with restrictive or binge eating patterns, and help you find a balance and healthier relationship with food.
